Temporary road closure in Punggol this Friday (23 Nov 2012)

A section of Punggol Road between Punggol Central and Punggol Drive will be temporarily closed to traffic on Friday, Nov 23, from 1 to 5am.
According to HDB, the temporary road closure is to facilitate the launching of concrete beams for the construction of pedestrian overhead bridge near the Block 301A and Block 604B.
Motorists heading towards Punggol Road from Punggol Central are advised to use alternative routes along Punggol Place, Edgefield Plains, Edgedale Plains or Punggol East.
Those heading towards Punggol Central from Punggol Drive can use alternative routes along Punggol Place or Edgefield Plains.
Motorists going in and exiting the multi-storey carpark at Block 602 are advised to follow the road directional signs and instruction given by traffic marshals; and those going in and exiting from the Shell petrol station are advised to follow the road directional signs and instruction given by traffic marshals.
Blinking lights, barricades and diversion signs will be put up to guide the motorists.
