Come July 2011, residents can enjoy a host of exciting amenities at the new Punggol 21 Community Club (CC), located next to Punggol Plaza.
Envisioned as a “Creative Lifestyle Hub”, the maritime-inspired CC features wellness facilities such as a fitness centre and a landscaped outdoor gym for the health conscious, as well as a fun and creative environment for children to learn and play.
Residents can also take part in outdoor programmes such as taiji and taekwondo at the CC’s roof deck, or simply hang out in a park-like sheltered plaza and cosy interaction spaces.
The new CC will offer more common space for the residents to come together and create more opportunities for community bonding and interaction.
Chairman of the Community Club Management Committee, Mr Roland Heng, PBM, hoped the new CC would not only serve as a place for residents to attend courses, but also a place where residents would naturally gather with their friends and family members. For example, friends and family members could meet up at the CC’s F&B outlets for a meal or just to chit chat.
Mr Heng added, “It was heartening to see about 800 residents attending our groundbreaking ceremony held on 17 January 2010. This would not be possible without the hard work of Punggol North grassroots leaders, especially the Punggol 21 Community Club Building Fund Committee members.”
